I got my uni results.
Marketing 68%, Credit.
Maths 65%, Credit.
I passed maths! Which means I'm now up for consideration for transfer. I don't find out until end of Jan/start of Feb if I get in. |

Hey kids,
Soooo.. I started full time work last week as acting manager at dusk, & I'm getting really really worn out. I was a total arsehole this weekend & ditched Greens drinks on Thursday, Tom's 20th pub crawl on Friday, & Chad's 22nd dinner on Sunday - that one I was sick for though. I only made it to Cyndi's 21st on Saturday, & I would've backed out of that as well if I hadn't paid $55 to rent a costume. So so sorry guys.. I feel really bad about it, 'specially since you came to my birthday. Tom, I owe you a drink. Chad, I owe you a dinner. Book it in.
Anyway, the point of my post was to say SORRY to the boys for not attending, & sorry to anyone else if I don't answer my phone because I can't be bothered talking to you, or don't end up coming to something. I'm normally a party animal, as you all know! :p But going from getting out of bed at 11am & going to sleep at 2am, & just studying all day with a trip to the gym in the middle, to suddenly getting up at 7am everyday & working 9 hours, has killed me. Give me a few weeks to get used to it & I'll be out again, being the one on the dance floor with toilet paper stuck to her shoe :p
Now if you'll excuse me, my bedtime was half an hour ago.

Hey loveys,
As you guys probably know, I volunteer with the Greens. On Election Day I'll be handing out how to vote cards for the party in Dingley. I'll be the only Greens person at the polling booth I'm staffing, & I'll be there 8am til 6pm that day, so it'd be totally awesome if some of you could pop by for a visit. You don't even have to hand out how to vote cards or do anything green or any of that; it'd just be awesome to have people visit 'cuz it's gonna be a long, boring day & visitors would be lovely. If you want to come let me know & I'll give you the address.

This Sunday (12 Nov), with less than 2 weeks before the State Election, the Young Greens are planning a rather special event, if we may say so ourselves!
At 2pm, we're going to meet at the Greens Office (377 Little Bourke Street, Melbourne, entry via Racing Club Lane), and tie a green ribbon around all 280 (roughly) street poles starting from the Office, going up Elizabeth, then Bourke, to Parliament House - creating a green corridor through the city! Our message being: after the election, Greens MPs will be heading to parliament!
To make this successful, we need as many people as possible. So if you're busy on Sunday, make yourself unbusy and stop by to lend a hand!

I have to write a student statement for my course application, about half a page to a page about why I want to transfer. I wrote some ideas down but it sounds MEGA SHIT. Please read below & send me ideas/comments/critisicms.. HELPHELPHELP!
I would like to transfer into Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) because I believe I would really enjoy it, and excel at it. I have done three semesters of Bachelor of Network Computing and the only aspects I enjoyed were the programming and maths classes, which I feel is an element that relates to accounting – I enjoy numbers and formulas. I’ve also had basic experience with accounting. I volunteer at the Victorian Greens State Office, and I’ve had the opportunity to work with the Finance Officer, keenly observing the details of her work, and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. I throw myself into whatever I do, and I can guarantee that if I’m accepted into this course I will excel.

The festival actually goes from Dec 30-Dec 31, but we can buy an extra ticket to go up a day earlier, on Friday the 29th. This is still to be confirmed.. & by that I mean we're waiting on a call from Emily to go ahead with it all.
It's gonna be awesome guys! Simply awesome!
In other news, uni's almost finished! Next week is revision week, then exams. I handed in my last assignment yesterday for Maths, so far I'm running on an average of about 75%, which is a pass so rock on! Marketing I got my assignment back on Monday, I got a HD which is fantastic! Marketing doesn't matter so much as far as my transfer, but if I rock up & say I passed Maths, & I did awesomely in this class that's in the curriculum, that might help heaps.. Of course, let's wait til the exams to see how it all is.
In other news.. Well actually that's the only good news so we'll skip how everything else is going. Hope everyone's well!

GET EXCITED GUYS! Because it's my birthday in a month, wooo! So I've started planning what I'm gonna do because it's gonna be awesome crazy pants fun. Yeah. & so I thought I'd share what I'm gonna do with you all.. Start writing it on your calender!
So my Maths exam is on Thursday the 9th of November, & my birthday is Friday the 10th. So planning to walk out of the Maths exam when it finishes at 12.30, & go straight to the pub with the Maths kids, & have a day of drinking at pubs & passing out in the gutter. Thursday night heading out - but I don't know where! The only place I know on a Thursday night is Next or Playhouse, & they're two extremes.. I'd rather have something a bit more 'everyone-friendly'.
THEN - Friday night is the Bi-Annual End of Erin's Exams Celebratory Dinner at Montezuma's/Erin's Birthday Celebrations At Montezuma's, which everyone is invited to! YAY! & Dru's gonna make a cake again & this year you're all gonna sing to me in the restaurant & I'll blush & get embarassed. Then someone will make a toast to me & my awesomeness. Then Friday night we'll go out somewhere as well! [Probably end up at the Drink, oh my]
THEN - Saturday night head out to the Drink, because it's my home & Robbie loves me. Much alcohol will be consumed in these three days & my liver will be in a very bad condition come Sunday, when someone will take me out for lunch.
I was thinking maybe I should have a party as well.. I haven't had a party for two years so maybe it'd be fun? I don't know.. Would it be fun people? Would you all come & have a merry fun time? Decisions, decisions..

Meanwhile, I'd like to announce that I'm pretty fucking awesome today. Got my results for my second maths assignment - & if you've spoken to me about uni for longer than three seconds you'll be aware of how much I've been struggling in maths.
40/40.
FUCKING ROCK ON!! Omigod sooo proud of myself!! It's like, it's still really really hard.. But I'm actually starting to get some of it, y'know? It's not all completely ridiculously impossibly difficult.
Yeah, I know I'm a nerd. But hey, shut up. When I'm trained as an accountant you kids are gonna love me.
Meanwhile, let's talk tattoos. I'd love your opinions about the tatts I want, which are:
I would like this little one on my right foot, on the outer part.
I want to get a scorpion on my inner right bicep. Not huge, maybe 7cm long and 3-4cm across. I really love the look of the tribal one, but I'm afraid it's kinda prison-bitch/masculine. I was thinking maybe if it got smoothed out more it might look better? The plainer one, if I got that I wouldn't want it so black, I'd want it more blocky, as lots of bits with skin shown in between.

Today was better. I blasted the music as soon as I got in the car, practically screaming along, until U2's "Beautiful Day" came on:

Halfway through singing along & I just went, 'Oh.' & then had myself a little cry. It was probably the best timing for it, actually, because I was driving through Springvale, one of the only places I actually follow the 40 km/h speed limit, & usually drive even slower, due to everyone wandering across the road whenever they feel like it.. Whether there are cars coming or not. IDIOTS!
Anyway then I got to uni & it was cool. Stressing out majorly through my Marketing tute! Then headed off to Trent's, shaking when I got there. But it was okay, I got my stuff & we talked a bit. I got the answers I wanted, & I feel okay. I left & didn't feel upset or anything, so it's good. Rocked up at Laura's at 3pm, five minutes later started giggling & didn't stop until she left my place at 7pm. Love that kid! Go the Subway guy - he loved me! No salt, please! :p
